Fab Freebie!!!
As I was scouting around the web in search for fabulous things for scrapbooking I ran across a free software download called The Framing Station. With this software you can take one of your photos and put a nice frame around it. Your asking "How would this be useful to me??" It has tons of scrappin uses if you think about it. First make a framed photo, print it out and use it on you paper scrapbook. Or you can use it in a digital scrapbook also. One of the ways I am going to use it is to make photo Christmas card, just like the ones they make at Walmart only free (except for the ink of course). This program makes frames for a variety of photo sizes, from 4x6 all the way up to 8x10. You could make an 8x10 and frame it for a nice gift. I know my parents would love one of the grandkids. The 4x6 size is perfect for postcards too. This picture is an example of a birthday invitation for my daughters birthday party. I will just write the party info on the back and send.
It is simple to use. I added the text "Time to Party" You do not have to know how to digital scrapbook to use this program. When you click on Update the program it takes you to the web site and there are more free frames to download. They also sell packs of frames to buy if you want. There are so many free ones I'm not going to buy any for what I want to do. Just takes a little time to download them. Here is the link so you can check it out for your self!! (This is not the official web page just a download site)
